We offer a wide range of tours within the Mount Cameroon Area. Tourists have the opportunity to choose from the variety; Mountain trekking, bird watching, cultural, economic and religious tours, visiting the beach, surfing, visiting craft centers etc. Everybody can find something for himself according to the interest and physical condition, because the offered tours represent various attractions and level of difficulty – from very easy to very demanding and strenuous.
Duration of the tours fluctuate between 2 hours and above. Also longer tours are available on request. It concerns especially organized bird, visit to craters and wildlife watching tours. These can be organized by our office, if booked in advance.
The hiking trails on Mount Cameroon lead through various vegetation zones like farmland, mountain rain forest, Savannah and pioneer vegetation on volcanic rocks and ashes on Hut 3 and summit plateaus. This variety of landscapes, ecosystems and climate makes the tours very interesting and unique. Some thrill adds the fact that Mount Cameroon is a still active volcano.
The one night hike: from Buea to the Summit (peak) and back to town. Here we shall camp at the second Hut (2850m/10km in about 6 to 8hours) then leave for summit very early in the morning the next day for the peak and back to town ( about 22km in about 11hours).
For two nights: we shall follow the same procedure above for the firs day but the second day we camp at the second hut if we shall be doing only the Guinness track but if not then from the peak we shall go down to Man Spring (2440m/17km from hut II in about 8 to 9 hours) were we
are to camp for the second night then the third day we move down to the town (950m/11km in about 7 to 8 hours). There other possibilities like the 4 to 5 days (in the elephant opening) and above leading to Bakingili were were the Lava flow of 1999 stopped
